Those new modes are scheduled for release this summer. The physical release will include every update since last year’s digital launch, including performance and stability improvements, control refinements, and upgraded graphics. 505 Games adds that Ghostrunner will run in 4K, 120 FPS, and with “instant loading.” On the gameplay side of things, Ghostrunner’s PS5 and Xbox Series X version is getting all modes since launch, including a timer-based “Kill Run,” an upcoming enemy wave-based mode, an accessibility-minded assist mode, and a photo mode for taking pictures of all that slicing and dicing. The PS5 version is also receiving new haptic feedback on the DualSense controller. On the graphical front, Ghostrunner’s PS5/Series X version is receiving post-processing HDR, a ray tracing fidelity mode, 3D audio, and other improvements.
